Melanie Brown, aka Scary Spice or Mel B, hints that the Spice Girls may be reuniting for a very special occasion soon — the royal wedding.

Fans of the 90s English girl group are constantly clamoring for a reunion for the five girls. While they've occasionally joined forces, their get-togethers have mostly been limited to private gatherings or ultra-special events like the 2012 Olympics.

However, there's finally an upcoming celebration that's special enough to warrant a Spice Girls reconciliation.

During an appearance on The Real, singer turned television personality Brown hinted at a much-awaited reunion with her former bandmates. Even more interestingly, it will come during no less than Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle.

Mel B Drops Hints On Royal Wedding

The revelation came on an episode of The Real when Brown's cohosts asked her candidly whether she knows anyone who will be at the biggest wedding of the year.

"I'm going," Brown says in a barely audible voice. Pressed whether she's really going or not, the America's Got Talent judge reluctantly admits that the entire group received invitations to the royal wedding. "Well us five Spice Girls. Why am I so honest?"

Not to be deterred by Brown's reluctance to divulge information, the hosts ask whether the Spice Girls' attendance means they will be performing at the reception.

Mel B chides herself under her breath instead of responding, but the hosts of The Real begin squealing in excitement, taking her reaction as confirmation.

"I need to go, I'm going to be fired," Mel B tells her cohosts and the audience instead, implying that while she's not supposed to talk about it, she also can't lie and deny their upcoming performance.

"Let's not talk about it anymore," she adds. "Let's pretend I never said that."

With so little details getting leaked on the royal wedding, this is the closest confirmation the public has gotten on the attendees and performers.

Other Candidates For Wedding Performances

The Spice Girls may perform, but there are other musicians speculated to take the stage during Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding.

Many believe Elton John will be one of the performers of the night, especially given that the Grammy-winning musician was a close friend of the prince's late mother Princess Diana. After John canceled a few shows around the date of the royal wedding, it's looking likely that he will at least be a guest.

There have also been some buzz about Ed Sheeran's potential performance with sources saying the couple has reached out to the singer in hopes of booking him as a wedding singer.
