Musicians Miranda Lambert and Anderson East have reportedly grown apart after just over two years of dating.

According to a new report, the couple "grew apart" while on separate tours and recently, East reportedly took the initiative to end their relationship and dump his country singer girlfriend.

"She didn't see it coming," a source explained to In Touch Weekly at the end of last month.

However, according to another insider, it wasn't East who decided to call it quits. That said, East certainly benefitted professionally from his romance with the well-known singer. In fact, the insider said that dating Lambert took East to the top of the A-list in music.

Although Lambert is supposedly devastated by her split from East, despite the fact that they had allegedly grown apart, the insider told In Touch Weekly that she was doing her best to stay busy and put her heartbreak aside.

"She's been writing songs and she'll join The Bandwagon Tour with Little Big Town in July," the source said. "She refuses to sit around feeling sorry for herself."

Blindsiding History with Blake Shelton

According to another report from Life and Style, Lambert has a history of being blindsided with splits and was also caught off-guard when her former husband Blake Shelton filed for divorce and quickly moved on with fellow musician Gwen Stefani.

"The cold-blooded way Blake blindsided her with divorce, drove her out of his life, and then shoved his romance with Gwen [Stefani] in her face is something that will scar her forever,” the source revealed. “It still burns her... Blake didn’t work at the marriage like she wanted him to."

Lambert and Shelton's divorce was announced in July 2015 and one month later, Stefani confirmed she and Gavin Rossdale were divorcing after 13 years and three children. As fans may know, Lambert and Shelton were married for four years and share no children. 

Since his split from Lambert years ago, Shelton has been dedicated to his life with Stefani and acts as a step parent to her and Rossdale's three sons, 11-year-old Kingston, 9-year-old Zuma, and 4-year-old Apollo. 

Throughout Lambert's relationship with East, the alleged ex-couple faced tons of rumors regarding possible engagements but never confirmed any future plans to wed. At the same time, Shelton and Stefani faced similar rumors and have also been targeted with claims of pregnancies and secret weddings.
