Justin Bieber sparked rumors of concern when he suddenly canceled his Purpose World Tour in July of last year. Luckily, he's doing just fine.

According to a new report, Bieber was exhausted at the time he canceled his tour and needed a break. Now, however, after spending several months focusing on his spirituality and emotional health, he's a changed man.

“Having the last year off has been life-changing for Justin. People made fun of him when he canceled his tour, but he really was overwhelmed and exhausted at that point,” a source close to the musician told People magazine days ago.

Justin Bieber Struggles With Paparazzi

Although Bieber loves his fans and performing shows for them, he finds it quite hard to be followed by paparazzi. The source also said that it has taken its toll on Bieber, who struggles to have phones and cameras in his face at all times.

Focused On His Faith

In recent months, fans of the singer have seen him attending church frequently and receiving extra guidance at Hillsong Church from his friend and pastor Carl Lentz.

During his time off, Bieber spent a ton of time with his church friends and pastors and worked on himself. Then, after doing so, he was able to mend a number of his strained relationships, including his relationship with his mother, Pattie Mallette. The two recently took a tropical vacation together.

As for Gomez, she and Bieber are currently receiving church guidance both as a couple and as individuals so that they don't end up back in the toxic patterns they were in after their relationship first began eight years ago.

Justin Bieber And Selena Gomez's Relationship Is 'Different' This Time

This time around, the source explained, Bieber's relationship with Gomez is different and they aren't putting a ton of pressure on one another. Instead, after going through a lot of heartache with one another in past years, the couple is getting to know one another again and starting fresh.

As Gomez and Bieber's time together continues, the couple is reportedly making an effort to keep things between them more low-key than they have in the past. Rather than embarking on flashy nights out on the red carpet, they've been enjoying quiet dinners at home and often spend time at church and with their friends.
