Justin Bieber celebrated his 24th birthday on Thursday, March 1, and according to a new report, all he wanted to do was spend time alone with his girlfriend.

Five months into their reunion, Bieber and Selena Gomez are going strong, and if Bieber had it his way on his birthday, they enjoyed a fun day with one another on March 1.

“Justin gets to be in love and with the girl he has always wanted to be with for his birthday. He doesn’t need any lavish gifts from her, he just wants to spend some alone time with her. Granted if she has anything planned as a surprise for him he will love it because he loves spending any time he can with her. He really is totally invested in their relationship,” a source close to Bieber told Hollywood Life on Feb. 28.

Times Spent Together

Since they were first seen together in late October, Bieber and Gomez have been doing their best to keep a low profile as they attend church and focus on their music careers. That said, their reconciliation has generated tons of buzz in recent weeks and the couple is often caught by paparazzi in Los Angeles.

In addition to their frequent sightings in Los Angeles, Bieber and Gomez have also enjoyed a number of vacations and celebrated the New Year together in Mexico. More recently, the couple was spotted in Jamaica, where Bieber's father, Jeremy, married his longtime girlfriend.

Taking Steps To The Future

Following their trip, Bieber reportedly began considering his own future marriage.

“Justin has been thinking a lot about his future with Selena since they’ve been in Jamaica," another insider told Hollywood Life. "Justin’s really inspired right now and that has not only sparked new music from Justin, but personal conversation with his loved ones as well."

According to the report, Bieber and Gomez have been in talks about a future marriage and definitely see the potential to share a life together, get married, and have kids. The insider went on to say that after Gomez's kidney transplant last year, Bieber feels extremely lucky to have gotten a second chance with Gomez and can't image what life would be like without her.

The source also said that Bieber has let Gomez know that he's ready to take the next step in their relationship, whether that means getting engaged or starting a family.
