Dwayne Johnson gave props to first responders on Instagram after an emergency situation with his daughter Jasmine gave his family a scare over the weekend.

The Rock Gives A Shout-Out To First Responders

The Baywatch star, 45, went on Instagram on Tuesday to share his terrifying experience after an emergency concerning his 2-year-old child. Fortunately, the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) and the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) did their job impeccably.

Johnson did not divulge the exact emergency that took place, but in a video clip on Instagram, he revealed that it happened on Saturday night.

"We were up all night in the emergency room," he tells the camera in the video. "We had something scary happen with our little baby girl, Jasmine. She's okay now, thank God."

The A-list actor went on to express his gratitude to all of the first responders who played huge roles in keeping the family calm and taking care of his baby.

"I just want to say thank you so much to everyone who was involved — so caring and compassionate and responsive," he continues, adding that the 911 operators, LAFD, and the UCLA medical team helped his family out remarkably.

Finally, Johnson encouraged parents to stay calm and focused during emergency situations involving their children. After all, he points out, babies take their cues from the moms and dads, and it's best to keep them as stress-free as possible.

It's a good thing the father-of-two is so experienced under pressure as the brood is set to get bigger in the next few months. Johnson is expecting his second daughter with girlfriend, Lauren Hashian.

Eldest Daughter Following In His Footsteps

His 16-year-old daughter from first wife Dany Garcia is carving out her own path in the industry. Simone Garcia Johnson was the first-ever Golden Globes Ambassador in the prestigious awards show, a position that used to be called Miss Golden Globes.

As the budding star shared in an interview with Refinery29 earlier this year, her parents broke the news of her position on her 16th birthday, a pleasant surprise that's even more meaningful because of the Time's Up movement that swept the Golden Globes.

Another surprise is Garcia Johnson's potential choice of career path when asked if she wants to pursue a career in the spotlight like her father.

"I'm not sure, but something that comes to mind is wrestling," she answers.

Spoken like a true daughter of The Rock!
