Today, March 13, is Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson's birthday, and the talented athlete has plenty of reasons to celebrate.

The pro-baller is expecting a child with his girlfriend, Khloe Kardashian, and as announced during the season finale of Keeping up With The Kardashians, the couple is having a girl.

Kardashian has not been shy about her feelings toward her current beau, and of course took to social media to express her love for Thompson on his special day.

The heavily pregnant reality star shared a touching tribute for Thompson on his birthday. Kardashian stated in the post that Thompson would always be her "forever" and once again expressed how "grateful" she is to have him in her life.

The expectant parents recently had a lavish, all-pink themed baby shower in honor of their coming daughter. A birthday celebration for Thompson immediately followed and it was attended by some members of Thompson's team, including LeBron James, Kevin Love, and Jordan Clarkson. Khloe's family members, including her sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, were also in attendance.

The couple officially announced in December 2017 that they were expecting a child together. Prior to this, Kardashian and Thompson kept quiet on the news as this is Kardashian's first pregnancy.
The couple's relationship received a lot of backlash in the beginning stages due to Thompson's previous girlfriend, Jordan Craig, being pregnant with his first son, Prince Thompson.
Fans had accused the KUTWK star of stealing Thompson from Craig and also for keeping him from his son who is now one year old. Kardashian also received criticism for allegedly being unhappy with learning that she was having a girl. The Revenge Body host has been adamant in the past about wanting children in the past and struggles with infertility issues.
Kardashian and Thompson plan to raise their daughter in their respective home cities, Toronto and Los Angeles.
