Ireland Baldwin, the teenage daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, landed her first magazine cover in Beach magazine's July Issue.

The 17-year-old, 6-foot-2 model looked stunning, wearing a white bikini on the cover of the publication. Inside the issue, she confesses her love for surfing, paddle-boarding and the video app Vine.

She also told the magazine that she has something in common with Lindsay Lohan's character in the movie, Mean Girls

"I lived in Africa for a little while, so I was a real-life Cady Heron," she said.

The blonde-haired beauty signed with IMG modeling agency earlier this year and has already appeared in a few publications, including the NY Post and Elle magazine.

Ireland said that she eventually sees herself as an actress but said she wants to prepare before she takes on any movie roles.

"I want to do everything the right way ... Rather than getting involved with different projects and films that I'm not ready for and starting off on the wrong foot, I want to work my way up," she said.

For Ireland, having superstar parents doesn't mean her modeling career is a walk in the park. She recently said that she's still trying to get her career off the ground.

"Slowly, surely," she said. "It's still gonna take thousands more jobs 'til I finally settle in... but it's fun."

In the meantime, she's been getting tons of advice from her mother.

"My mom taught me to go on and have fun and avoid everyone else's comments and avoid what people are going to say about you," she said. "As long as you're the one that's smiling and having a good time, then you're the one that's gonna be successful."

Ireland knows that her parents are proud of her.

"I think everyone's really happy for me," she said. "It's been, so far, just such a fun ride. They're really happy that it's building confidence for me and it's getting me out there, so I think that everyone's just motivating me to keep going with it," she told Access Hollywood.
