Chris Stapleton is back to diaper duties as his wife, Morgane, just gave birth to their third and fourth child. The couple welcomed twin boys on Sunday.

Triple Celebration

It was a triple celebration for the country crooner on Sunday. Stapleton put family first and missed out on the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards to be in Nashville and attend to his wife at the hospital. Morgane gave birth on the awards day and host Reba McEntire shared the happy news on stage.

McEntire announced the arrival of the twins after Stapleton's name was called to the stage. The "Broken Halos" singer, who turned 40 on Sunday, won Album of the Year for From a Room: Volume 1 at the 2018 CMA.

"Chris couldn't be here cause Morgane's expecting twins. We just found out that those little rascals came a little bit early. Hot off the press! Twin boys," McEntire announced to a crowd of applause.

Soon after the announcement, the CMA Awards shared their well wishes to the parents of four on Twitter.

Stapleton and Morgane, who married in 2007, share two kids together. The "Fire Away" singer is already a proud father to an 8-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy, whose names they have chosen to keep private.

Pregnancy Reveal

The couple announced that they were expecting the twins in October 2017. Morgane shared the exciting news on Instagram during the couple's 10-year wedding anniversary.

"[Fourteen] years, 2 babies, & 2 more on the way Happy 10-year anniversary babe! You make my whole world go round," Morgane captioned a photo of her husband.

Morgane has since appeared on the red carpet with her growing belly. She showcased her baby bump at the 2017 ACMA Awards and recently at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

Stapleton and Morgane met in 2003 while both were working at different publishing houses. The singer worked at Nashville publishing house, while Morgane at a neighboring publishing house. Stapleton previously joked that his wife was a stalker, because she would spend time with a friend who works in his office just to see him.

Aside from the birth of the twins, his birthday and his Album of the Year award, Stapleton has another reason to celebrate. He also took home the Male Vocalist of the Year award at the CMA's.
