Justin Bieber New Music 'Hearbreaker' Will Stop The Criticism, Manager Scooter Braun Says
A release date for Justin Bieber's new single Heartbreaker has not been confirmed but when it does debut, the singer's manager said it will quite down even Bieber's biggest critics.
Scooter Braun talked to MTV News about the 19-year-old's new song and album, called his "music journal." Bieber released the song's cover art on Instagram on June 3 and though much about the single is unknown, Braun promises a different take from what Beliebers have so far heard from the singer.
"I'll just tell you that we're gonna release music it in a very, very different way with him," he said. "And people and fans should be very excited for the end of this year because he's just written so many songs on the road. And we decided there needs to be a way to release these songs in a different way than the normal album and be able to allow him to express himself in music while dealing with so many different bullsh-- stories every single day."
Braun hopes that the new music - especially the highly anticipated Heartbreaker - will silence the haters because Bieber will finally have the chance to address the very public ups and downs that make up his life. The singer is in a rumored on-again off-again relationship with Selena Gomez that is reported on daily, while he faces lawsuits and car accidents.
"So we're hoping the witch hunt [is] gonna end when he really just speaks for himself in the music," Braun added. "And we're gonna do it in a way that's very, very unique.
For Heartbreaker, Braun said that fans should know the track is coming directly" from Bieber. The manager added, "don't think [of] the normal 'Oh this is my single and this is going to be on the album' [rollout], realize there's gonna be a very unique way of how this music is going to be released unlike we've seen before from him."
Bieber's last album was 2012's Believe, which included singles Boyfriend and Beauty and a Beat. He re-released the album in early 2013 titled Believe Acoustic, featuring unplugged versions of the same songs as well as several new tracks. Bieber is currently on his Believe world tour.
