Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's honesty about the struggles of the royal life were not particularly welcomed by the public. Although the palace has yet to release a statement about it, rumors say that the royal family isn't happy about what the couple revealed in the documentary.

Their commentary on the royal life has put the entire Firm in hot water.

Although Meghan has received a lot of criticism for her blunt honesty, she has gained the support of several female British lawmakers. In their fight against the distasteful and misleading news about them, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have won the support of the members of the U.K. Parliament.

Seventy-two female members of the U.K. Parliament have expressed their solidarity for the Duchess of Sussex. Holly Lynch of the Labour Party has led the group in an open letter.

"Women MPs from various political parties have set aside their differences to show their solid support to the Duchess of Sussex today through this open letter," Lynch wrote in a tweet while sharing images of the letter that they sent to show the people who signed it.

In their letter, the women political leaders expressed their concern about how the press invade Meghan's privacy every time they publish news about her.

"They cast aspersions about your character, without any good reason," reads the letter addressed to Meghan.

Moreover, what the women of the U.K. parliament find truly concerning are the outdated, seemingly colonial undertones to some of the stories that U.K. tabloids publish.

"The women Members of the Parliament stand beside the Duchess of Sussex saying that we won't let this continue unchallenged," the letter further reads.

At the end of their Royal tour in Africa with their son, Archie, it was revealed that Meghan will be launching a lawsuit against the Mail on Sunday for publishing the letters she sent by her father. Prince Harry has also spoken of the legal action he is taking over the alleged interceptions of his voice mails.

In the interview for the documentary, Meghan was asked how long she could take all the tabloid rumors going on. She simply said that she is taking each day as it comes. The former Hollywood actress added that the grass is always greener, and that she is hopeful things will be okay.

The support Meghan is getting from the women of the Parliament changes everything. At least, Meghan doesn't have to feel alone at all. She has the support of strong, independent women and that should give her a lot of encouragement to continue on with her life.
