One month after the domestic abuse case against Brian Hickerson has been dismissed, Hayden Panettiere reunited with him.

The "I Love You Beth Cooper" actress and the real estate agent were photographed together in an airport and dressed casually in sneakers.

Their trip together came shortly after Hickerson's domestic violence case was dismissed at the end of September.

In a statement from the LA County District Attorney's Office, Greg Risling said that the case against Hickerson was dismissed without prejudice. He added, "Our office was unable to proceed because we could not secure a material witness. The protective order was also dismissed."

In May 2019, Hickerson was arrested for domestic violence following an incident at their home.

The couple was drinking in Hollywood before getting into a physical altercation. It was unclear who called the cops, but after the police interviewed the pair, they took Hickerson into custody for felony domestic violence for allegedly starting the fight. Cops said that the "Heroes" actress had redness and marks on her body.

Hickerson was ordered to stay 100 yards away from the Panettiere after their scuffle. He was accused in Los Angeles and pleaded not guilty.

During the hearing, the judge denied the motion to dismiss criminal charges against Hickerson and declined to consider a lesser misdemeanor charge. At that time, he was facing up to four years in prison.

The two has started dating after rumors circulated that Panettiere and her then-fiance Wladimir Klitschko had split in August 2018.

Klitschko, 43, and the 30-year-old actress share a four-year-old daughter Kaya, who lives in Ukraine with her father.

It wasn't the first time that Hickerson was involved in a violent setting. Panettiere and Hickerson were reportedly involved in a drunken altercation with Hickerson's father in 2018.

A police report obtained by TMZ confirmed that the Greenville City Police Department responded to calls about "a domestic assault in progress" at a residence on Oct. 25, 2018. When they arrived, they found Hickerson chasing his dad, David Hickerson, through the kitchen in an "agitated" state.

The officer reported that there appeared to be blood on David's face add that the younger Hickerson was carrying an "unidentified object."

Officers then handcuffed a visibly angry Brian Hickerson as they asked him questions. While he refused to give his full name and birth date, he revealed that he got into an argument with his dad because he drank too much.

Panettiere was listed as the witness who opened the door when authorities arrived. According to their report, the actress appeared to be frantic and struggled to open the door hurriedly.
