No Forgiveness For Meghan Markle, Prince Harry After Damning Documentary, Pal Says
Things have not been okay with the royal family. It was reported that Meghan Markle is being given an absolute silent treatment by her in-laws.
Meghan and Prince Harry are still struggling with feelings of isolation from the rest of the royal family after speaking out in their shocking documentary last October.
For the ITV documentary "Harry & Meghan: An African Journey," the couple divulged how the negative press attention had hurt their family
It was in the documentary where Duke of Sussexx admitted that he and his older brother, Prince William, are on "different paths at the moment."
Since William is going to be the future king, there is sure to be some competitiveness between him and his younger brother.
"That already puts a rock in the relationship," a royal insider told People.
According to People, a source close to the royals said that the relationship between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry and the rest of the royal family remained strained.
"There hasn't been this complete 180. Nothing has changed. They don't speak. No one is checking in. No one is texting," the said source mentioned.
Furthermore, People's source emphasized that there is no denying there has been "a chill" between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton. In fact, it was revealed that the tensions between the royal brothers had increased Harry's feelings of isolation.
"Everyone was doing their duties, doing what they needed to do on behalf of the family. But there's a divide between the four of them," their source noted, "It's hard for people to digest because everyone wants them to be such a unit."
On the other hand, a close pal of Prince Harry believes that the Sussexes' are not in good shape to deal with anything right now.
"Everyone is hoping that they will come back from this break stronger than ever, and maybe with some time out of the spotlight, they can figure out what path to take next," Prince Harry's friend revealed.
As a result of Meghan and Prince Harry being isolated from the family, no public support was shown to them from any of the senior royal family members.
Prince Harry filed multiple lawsuits against the British tabloids for their cruel treatment for his wife, but it sure looks the couple is against the world right now.
