Jay-Z had Miley Cyrus in mind when he created the song, Somewhere in America off his 12th solo studio album, Magna Carta Holy Grail.

During an interview with Hot 97's Angie Martinez Tuesday, the 43-year-old rapper revealed that he supports the Disney star although previously tweeting that her twerking was an "old man's nightmare" Monday.

When asked what he thought about Cyrus' dance moves, Jay-Z came to her defense during the interview, saying, "[She's] just being herself, expressing herself."

Martinez then asked Jay-Z if he felt Cyrus was trying to be like Rihanna and other hip hop artists. The rapper said that people are upset that she's not acting like her Disney character "Hannah Montana" anymore.

"People want her to be something and she's like, 'I'm not that...You want me to be 6 years old forever?'" he said. "That must be frustrating. And this is her reaction to it."

During a Twitter question-and-answer session with fans on July 8, Jay-Z tweeted, "Miley is a GOD"

When Angie asked if Jay-Z if he would ever consider signing Miley to his record label, the rapper laughed and said, "Hey, there's room on the roster."

Cyrus felt honored that Jay-Z even shouted her out on the song. She took to her Twitter account to express her excitement.

"Call it what you want. But I don't see Mr. Carter shoutin any of you b****** out. #twerkmileytwerk," Cyrus tweeted Monday.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z's MCHG has gone platinum since the album released to Samsung users Thursday.

His wife, Beyonce's congratulated him and Instagram a photo of a throwback picture of the rapper, captioned "Bow Down."
