'Twins' Sequel 'Triplets' Will Join Arnold, DeVito and Eddie Murphy

Universal and Motecito Picture Co. are working on a sequel to the 1998 film "Twins," called "Triplets" that will star the original stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito, but add Eddie Murphy.

The premise of the original film was that Schwarzenegger and DeVito played brothers born through the in vitro fertilization process. The new film would reveal that Murphy's character had also been a brother, according to the Hollywood Reporter citing unnamed sources.

The new film does not yet have a director and writers are being sought to develop the idea, according to the report.

The producers for the film will be Ivan Reitman, who directed the original, and Joe Medjuk, Tom Pollock and Ali Bell,
