Jane Lynch officially divorced her wife of three years, Dr. Lara Embry, on Friday according to a report by TMZ.

Lynch signed the final documents at the Los Angeles County Court Friday, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the primary reason for their divorce. The couple separated in February but they filed for divorce in June.

"Lara and I have decided to end our marriage," Lynch said in a statement to Us Weekly in June. "This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another. We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter."

There was also no prenuptial agreement signed, so all marital assets are being split up 50/50, according to TMZ.  In the final documents, Lynch said that she wanted the court to terminate its jurisdiction of giving the 44-year-old Embry spousal support. Lynch has since moved out of their Laurel Canyon home in Los Angeles.

Lynch and Embry met in 2009 at a fundraiser for the National Center for Lesbian Rights and married in June 2010 in Massachusetts. Soon after the wedding they registered for domestic partnership in California.

The 53-year-old Glee actress is currently starring in the Broadway production of Annie: The Musical as Miss Hannigan. I'm reacquainted now with why I wanted to get into this crazy business," she told Time Friday, discussing the Broadway show. "I love being on stage. I love performing."

She is also hosting the NBC game show Hollywood Game Night, in which ordinary people play party games with celebrities.

Lynch's most recognized role is Sue Sylvester in the Fox musical show Glee, for which she won a Primetime Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in 2010. She was nominated again at the 2011 ceremony, which she also hosted. Lynch will be reprising her role as Sue Sylvester when Glee premieres its fifth season on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
