Now that Kate Middleton has gone into labor after several weeks of anticipation, many are on the edges of the seats guessing the baby's gender and what he or she will look like.

Both the Duchess of Cambridge, 31, and Prince William, 31, were both good looking children growing up.

William was so cute with his blonde hair and blue eyes, while Middleton was adorable with her chubby cheeks and dark hair.

Middleton's uncle Gary Goldsmith said previously that he believed his niece was having a baby girl.

According to The Mirror, Goldsmith, who goes by the names, "Uncle G" or "King of Fun" believes that the couple already knows what they're having.

"I believe Kate and William have kept the sex of their child a secret to everyone but themselves," he said.

"My suspicion is that they're having a baby girl," Goldsmith said. "But, of course, I don't know that for fact."

Middleton was admitted into St. Mary's hospital Monday morning and was said to have walked in with William at the side entrance of Lindo Wing.

"Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted this morning to St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London in the early stages of labour. The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge," a palace spokesman said.

Sources said that the palace waited until the Duchess was safe inside the hospital to release the statement.

The soon-to-be first-time parents received congratulations and well wishes from the Archbishop of Canterbury, who said in a statement: "My thoughts and prayers are with Kate and the whole family on this enormously special day.

The baby's date of birth, name and gender will be sent out on a notice and will be placed on the gates of Buckingham Palace. However, there is no time limit on when that information will be made available to the public.
