Actor Tom Hiddleston, who dons the role of the villainous Loki, was on hand for the Thor: The Dark World 2013 Comic-Con festivities in San Diego this past weekend.

While in attendance, Hiddleston took the opportunity to speak to Hitfix about the future flick. When he was queried on whether or not he thought his character had hit rock bottom, the 32-year-old not only acknowledged the predicament was indeed the case, but also elaborated on how it related to the antagonist's whereabouts.

"He's on his way there somehow. I mean...literally, he's buried deep in the darkest recesses of Asgard in a dungeon, unthought of, unseen and forgotten. And when you're written out of life like that, when you're written out of history, and your family have no interest in who you are, people who used to be your friends... you've got a lot of time. So I'd say...if he's not there yet, he's on his way down," he said.

Marvel's Thor: The Dark World will make its debut in theaters on Friday, Nov. 8. Be sure to keep checking back for more details on the highly anticipated blockbuster flick. Check out the movie's U.K. trailer below!
