Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have been hit by swirling rumors since they reconciled and started dating again.

Affleck's recent interview reportedly became the last straw for Lopez after the actor talked about his failed marriage with Jennifer Garner. He told Howard Stern that he felt trapped during his 13-year wedlock with his ex-wife, saying she is someone he loves and respects but to whom he knew he should not be married anymore.

After the report came out, the Bennifer couple reportedly began fighting over Garner and other issues within their relationship, including money and their career.

Jennifer Lopez Mad Since She Did Not Want To Be Upstaged

In Touch reported this week that Lopez does not want to be outshined by Affleck's ex-wife.

"Even though they only got back together about six months ago, Jennifer has waited 19 years to marry Ben, and the last thing she wants is the long engagement she had with Alex Rodriguez because look how that turned out," an insider said.

Other reports revealed that the recent event left her at odds with Affleck.

However, the singer immediately dismissed the claims and exclusively told People that she never felt something off after Affleck's interview.

"I couldn't have more respect for Ben as a father, a co-parent, and a person," she said.

Far from what the reports claimed, Lopez is reportedly fully supportive of her beau that any negative claims about him can be considered off the mark. Following her exclusive statement, a source close to them agreed to what she said and revealed that the pair "is in great space and really happy.

Aside from Lopez, Affleck himself set the records straight and revealed on Wednesday night's episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" that his words were taken out of context. He alleged that multiple media outlets painted him as though he was bad-mouthing his ex-wife.

"And they said that I blamed my ex-wife for my alcoholism and that I was trapped and just made me out to be the worst, most insensitive, stupid awful guy," he continued.

In the end, he insisted that it was not true and that he would never say anything bad about the children's mother. Affleck, after reading the reports, said he was extremely hurt by the mischaracterization.
