To the excitement of its fans, Marvel's blockbuster sequel Thor: The Dark World will be launching in theaters this upcoming fall.

One of the actresses that'll surely be playing a notable part in the superhero flick will be Kat Dennings, who'll return to reprise her role as Jane's (Gwyneth Paltrow) research assistant Darcy Lewis.

According to IGN, the 2 Broke Girls standout dished on her extended role while recently in attendance at CBS' Television Critics Association press tour.

"She's actually one of the most fun characters I've ever played. I love her a lot and they always give her really fun things to do, so it's great," she said.

Dennings also touched on her beefier role in the second movie, but was adamant about not making any assumptions when it comes to the post-production process.

"Yeah, yes. I mean I don't know how they edit anything, so who knows. I was careful in the first one to underplay everything in case they cut me out of it, but we're about to do some reshoots, so we'll see," she said.
