Time to Explore the Horrors of Modern Dating with Sebastian Stan in Horror Film 'Fresh' Trailer
Sebastian Stan charms Daisy Edgar-Jones in the newly released trailer for horror film "Fresh." During the trailer, the Marvel actor goes from sexy dream guy to a man with "unusual appetites" as he turns into every modern dater's worst nightmare.
In "Fresh," Edgar-Jones plays Noa, a young woman who has had terrible luck in the dating department. She meets Stan's Steve at an adorably awkward meet-cute in the grocery store. However, as she falls for this new stranger in her life, Noa begins to learn about Steve's strange predilections.
In the trailer, after Noa asks about what's going on, Steve answers with "I'm going to tell you, but you're going to freak out," setting the tone for what's sure to be a thrilling ride.
Directed by Mimi Cave and written by Lauryn Kahn, "Fresh" had already generated some buzz after its debut at this year's Sundance Film Festival. Additionally, the film's poster, which features a severed hand wrapped up like meat sold in a grocery store has drawn attention.

According to Leah Greenblatt from EW, "Fresh" is "a clever, gory metaphor for the seemingly endless horrors of modern romance rooted in a plot twist just outrageous enough to plausibly be true." I guess we'll see when all is revealed on March 4, 2022, which is when "Fresh" is set to be released on Hulu.
