Anna Delvey recently made headlines again after a Netflix series was released to detail the story of her crimes. Today, despite being in custody, the embattled socialite continues to hustle and receive offers as a docuseries about her is currently in the works.

According to Deadline, Delvey, whose real name is Anna Sorokin, is currently working on a docuseries that will tackle the next chapter of her life.

Produced by Bunim/Murray Productions, the series will not be looking back at some of her crimes and other wrongdoings she did in the past.

The outlet noted the upcoming documentary would pick up where "Inventing Anna" ended. It will also show how she changed and what her next step will be now that she's more famous than ever.

The series is said to be accessible in the future through several streaming platforms and broadcasters, but the outlet has not named any services at this time.

Michael Driscoll will be leading the project alongside Rupert Dobson and BMP President Julie Rizzi.

In a press release, Driscoll said Delvey's story is "still unfolding," and they have been working on the docuseries with her for months now.

He also noted they spent "countless hours on phone and video calls with her. She is a complicated and fascinating character, and we are looking forward to telling the next chapter of her ever-evolving tale."

According to Town and Country Magazine, Delvey is currently in ICE custody in upstate New York for overstaying her visa.

The embattled socialite, who dreamt of creating her private SoHo-like art gallery, was released from prison last year after being behind bars for four years.

However, after four years, she was taken back by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Regarding her reaction to the Netflix series about her crimes, which stars Julia Garner as her, she wrote an essay to Insider, saying she won't be watching the show anytime soon even though she could "pull some strings and make it happen."

"nothing about seeing a fictionalized version of myself in this criminal-insane-asylum setting sounds appealing to me," she added.

Anna Delvey is popularly known for her crimes in New York City. She managed to have numerous connections with socialites and wealthy people.

Delvey, who is infamously known as a con artist, was able to live a luxurious lifestyle by skipping hotel bills and even stealing a private jet.

In 2017, she was arrested in Los Angeles, California. She was later transferred to Rikers Island in New York.
