Teri Hatcher revealed recently that there might be the possibility of a Desperate Housewives movie.

Hatcher talked about Desperate Housewives with Extra on Tuesday while promoting her new animated movie, Planes.

"I love the fans of the show so much," she said, "and they don't seem to be done with those characters. I think it would be great for them."

Hatcher starred in the eight-season drama from 2004-2012 as the klutzy Susan Mayer. Her character was last seen in the series finale, moving away from Wisteria Lane and her fellow housewives. As for the possibility of a movie, the actress said that she would definitely consider it.

"If a script ever came across my lap, I would read it, hoping it would work out," she admitted, but she quickly added, "I don't really see that happening."

Watch Hatcher tease the possibility of a movie here:

Hatcher's co-star Eva Longoria, who played the hot-tempered Gabrielle Solis on the series, ruled out any possibility of a movie last year.

"I'm not open to a movie, no," Longoria told E!Online in February 2012. "I wouldn't even pay money to go to a movie when I could see these characters and these girls in my own home. It would be nice to close this chapter."

Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry also denied the prospect of a feature film in 2012.

"Boy, after eight years, I think we're done," he told the Television Critics Association in January 2012. He added that, after eight seasons, he had explored everything he could for the main characters. He said that despite Sex and the City going from television series to multi-film franchise, the difference between the shows was that Sex and the City "never really plumbed the depth of those characters."

With Hatcher breaking her silence about wanting to do a Desperate Housewives movie, it's possible that co-stars Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross may announce their own opinions in the coming days.
