An autopsy result indicated Brian Laundrie's cause of death. It answered various questions about his last few seconds of life.

More questions are being asked when the answers to the queries become available.

A former FBI agent believes that numerous elements in the Brian Laundrie and Gabby Petito case were "bothersome" to her.

Brian Laundrie's remains were recovered about a mile into the park's entrance at the Carlton reserve in October 2021.

Authorities discovered a notebook among the bones that they believe belonged to Brian.

Inside the notebook was a written confession in which he killed Gabby.

The autopsy report now concludes that Brian Laundrie committed suicide. He allegedly used a.38 caliber pistol, which was discovered around 60 feet away from his corpse.

Brian's body was "scattered" due to "carnivore activity," thus wild animals in the reserve were expected to transfer it away from the weapon.

Former FBI agent Jennifer Coffindaffer has spoken out about the "suicide," stating she was taken aback by parts of the report that stated Brian Laundrie shot himself on the left side of his head.

She added that it doesn't make sense because the fugitive was right-handed and he allegedly committed suicide using their "off" hand.

Jennifer proposed numerous theories to explain this, ranging from the possibility that Brian was ambidextrous to the possibility that Gabby Petito's claimed killer was assisted in Brian's suicide by a third party.

"I'm not a conspiracy theorist at all," she explained to Radar Online, "but I can't ignore facts or statistics." And data show that those who are generally right-handed do not attempt suicide using their left hand."

Jennifer also stated that, despite the fact that the case has concluded, it now leaves more questions than answers, such as how or why the 23-year-old used his non-dominant hand to shoot himself.

The expert also noted that the best possibility for public to view case clues is if Gabby's next of kin files a civil complaint against Brian's family and estate.

Gabby Petito's murder made international headlines in September after her parents reported her missing. Her remains was later discovered in Wyoming.
