Kim Kardashian whipped her followers into a frenzy Monday when she captioned an Instagram image with the title of Ariana Grande's song "Just Like Magic."

Given that the creator of Skims is dating Grande's ex-fiancé Pete Davidson, the caption choice lit up the comments section. Why is the reality star suddenly dragging Ariana Grande to her colorful love life

"The Ari reference?? Babe!!" commented one fan.

"Not the Ariana grande reference," wrote another.

"Quoting @arianagrande while dating her lefts overs [sic] - cute," commented a third fan,  which is quite scathing.

Others responded more subtly, adding extra lyrics to Grande's 2020 song in response to Kardashian's series of photographs.

"I get everything I want cuz I attract it ," one fan quoted.

"Middle finger to my thumb and then I snap it," another fan wrote.

It's highly possible though that Kim Kardashian did not deliberately want to reference Ariana Grande on her post. But given how popular Grande's songs are and her past with Pete Davidson, one can just wonder.

Kardashian, 41, has not stated whether it was deliberate, and Davidson, 28, has already erased his new Instagram account as quickly as he made it. However, Page Six has reported that the caption was a "pure coincidence" and that Kardashian did not intend to mention the song.

While Kardashian's estranged husband, Kanye West, claimed credit for Davidson's social media withdrawal, a source close to him claimed that just remembered what he disliked about the site.

Pete deleted his Instagram because he began receiving a torrent of messages, both nice and bad, reminding him why he avoided social media in the first place," a person close to Davidson revealed, maintaining that "Kanye did not drive Pete off social media."

West, 44, has waged a one-sided battle on Davidson, calling him a "d-khead" in one of his numerous Instagram rants and rapping about wanting to "kick" the comic's "ass" on his recent song "Eazy."

Kardashian began dating Davidson in the fall of 2020 after divorcing Ye, with whom she has four children: North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2.

Meanwhile, the star of "Big Time Adolescence" and Grande called off their engagement in October 2018, barely five months after they began dating. In May 2021, the Grammy winner, 28, married real estate agent Dalton Gomez.
