Well it's about time, we hope. Sony has just dropped the final trailer for Marvel's Morbius, which is due to hit theaters on April Fool's Day of all things. Why is that funny? Because of the amount of reshoots and rescheduled release dates that makes me wonder if we are just being messed with.

For those not in the know, Michael Morbius, played by Jared Leto, was an anti-hero, of sorts that came from Spider-Man. He was a scientist who accidentally gains the traits of vampirism while trying to cure himself from a rare disease. Much the way Venom got the anti-hero backstory treatment and a stinger tie in, Morbius looks to stake a claim in the Spider-Man franchise down the road, which lead to reshoots in order to jump on the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

With a whopping six rescheduled release dates, mostly for pandemic reasons, this property has slowly garnered favor with fans due to its Spidey roots and it shows no sign of stopping. Throw in a possible Blade cameo down the road and you have yourself a sweet little franchise. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.

In the final trailer, we get to see more of Morbius in action as well as Michael Keaton's Vulture from Spider-Man: Homecoming, who could be recruiting for the Sinister Six, one of the wall crawler's most famous bad guy team ups. This definitely has a more exciting feel than past trailers, leaning into the fast-paced action beats and character introductions that are sure to stir up all the feels in fans.

Watch the trailer below and get excited, before Morbius releases on April 1st.
