Pete Davidson is preparing to separate from Kim Kardashian for a period of time because he wants to create some "distance" between them.

The "Saturday Night Live" actor is apparently set to sign a deal that would allow him to travel to space alongside Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos on one of the company's forthcoming Blue Origin flights, according to multiple reports.

According to Page Six, the comedian and the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star were photographed at the Amazon billionaire entrepreneur's compound in Los Angeles two months ago, where they were having dinner with him and his girlfriend, Lauren Sanchez, according to the publication.

When Pete and Jeff began to talking, it was stated that they became so close that a possibility for the 28-year-old actor to accompany the creator of Blue Origins on one of his forthcoming journeys into space presented itself.

An insider stated to the publication that Kim Kardashian's boyfriend is "eager" despite the fact that he has not yet signed a contract with the reality star. Pete's space flight, on the other hand, is almost guaranteed to take place in the future.

"The specifics are still being worked out," they continued.

Despite the fact that the source did not know when they would be traveling to space, it is expected that they will do it sometime this year.

Pete, on the other hand, should not take pride in the fact that he is not the first celebrity to travel to space with Jeff Bezos.

Last year, 90-year-old "Star Trek" actor William Shatner joined the Blue Origin capsule and crew on an interplanetary journey that took them out of our Earth and back in a matter of hours.

Prince William had some special comments to say about the expedition because it wasn't the most groundbreaking journey the two guys had ever undertaken.

"We need some of the world's greatest brains and minds fixed on trying to repair this planet, not trying to find the next place to go and live," the Duke of Cambridge stated at the time.

He also stated that there has been a notable increase in climate fear, and that the futures of the younger generation are being jeopardized as a result.

While the royal's remarks appeared to deter the businessman from pressing on with his space expeditions, it appeared to encourage him to do so, especially if he wanted to be accompanied by Pete Davidson.

Pete is attempting to move as far away from Kanye West as he possibly can with the possibility of this happening.

After all, the comedian had been the focus of a horrific music video for the award-winning rapper's latest song, "Eazy."
