Kanye West was so desperate to reclaim Kim Kardashian and his children that he had to urge one of the people he hadn't spoken to in a long time to assist him.

The divorce of the "Donda" rapper and reality star is currently one of the most talked-about subjects across the world, with the former power couple wrangling over parenting practices and custody concerns.

Kanye, who officially changed his name to Ye, is also dissatisfied with his ex-connection wife's with "Saturday Night Live" cast member Pete Davidson.

Many people regard the rapper's activities, such as acquiring a residence near his ex's after their divorce, as stalking and unstable.

However, things became so hard for him that he even enlisted the help of his father in the whole ordeal.

Kanye West Begs His Father to Assist Him

During Black History Month, Kanye West hosted a Black Future Brunch in connection with his interview with Hollywood Unlocked.

The event was titled "Controlling Our Narrative," and the "Jesus Is King" rapper spoke to the participants about his divorce and co-parenting dynamics with his former wife.

He reportedly argued that he merely bought the house near their former residence to stay close to the KKW Beauty mogul and their children and be there in their life.

The 44-year-old award-winning rapper also reportedly stated that his and Kim's co-parenting relationship grew even more problematic when he sought counsel from his father.

He even mentioned his estrangement from his father, revealing that he lost communication with his father after his mother relocated the family from Atlanta to Chicago when he was a child.

According to Showbiz CheatSheet, Kanye addressed guests at the event, "My dad told me three weeks ago, it's the first time he ever stated that." [He said] that my mother told him, 'I'm moving to Chicago, and if you come to find me, you'll never see him [Ye] again.'

"What was he thinking when he said that?" Because I was pleading with him to call Kim and he refused. 'I don't want to chat,' he said. 'Dad, I need your help,' I said. I can't do this because I can't see my children.' My father lacked both the voice and the means to advocate for me.

He began voicing concerns with his ex about co-parenting issues online, in addition to buying a house next door to Kim and bullying Pete Davidson.

He even accused her of keeping him away from their children and changing her phone number in order to avoid contact.
