Bob Saget's Family Wins Suit For Privacy Surrounding The Late 'Full House' Star's Passing
Bob Saget's cause of death will remain private.
After the tragic and untimely passing of well beloved comedian Bob Saget, investigations quickly began, looking into what caused this unexpected event. The autopsy of the performer has since revealed the cause of death, but that information will not be revealed to the public. The Full House star's family has taken legal action to ensure that the star's cause of death remain private.
According to an article on US Weekly, Saget's family ensured that that documents related to his death would not be released via a temporary injunction recently granted to them by the judge. The family put in a lawsuit against the Orange County Sheriff and the medical examiner's office. The claim behind the suit was that the release of information would put the family through, "irreparable harm in the form of extreme mental pain, anguish and emotional distress."
Now, this suit has been agreed upon and a temporary injunction declared. The family lawyer, Brian Bieber, said openly that:
"The entire Saget family is grateful that the judge granted their request for an injunction to preserve Bob's dignity, as well as their privacy rights, especially after suffering this unexpected and tragic loss...We are pleased this issue has been resolved, and the healing process can continue to move forward. All of the prayers and well wishes continuously extended to the family are beyond appreciated."
