Khloe Kardashian is apparently "eager to meet someone new," putting the past behind her and looking forward to the future in terms of her love life.  

After Tristan Thompson took a paternity test and admitted to fathering a child while they were together, the 37-year-old social media guru is dipping her toes back into the dating pool. Is she really finally willing to move forward?

Fans know that this is not the first cheating scandal she was in when it comes to Tristan, and many can only shake their heads when she still chooses to forgive the guy and even hints at reconciliation from time to time.  

Khloe, who has a three-year-old daughter with the NBA player, recently said that she's still working out their 'complex' relationship in a clip from their upcoming Hulu program, "The Kardashians," in which the former pair sat down and chatted.

"Khloe is getting back out there and ready to move on from Tristan," a source told E! News. "She seems open to it and is interested in going out and having fun," the source added. 

The founder of Good American is optimistic about a swift resolution and expects to locate a new man in the coming weeks and months. 

"She is slowly getting out on the dating scene and excited to meet someone new," the insider added.

Khloe's family and friends have been "very supportive" of her in recent months, and she is currently "in a really good place." 

Another source even shared that the reality star "feels a sense of relief and excitement to move on to the next chapter, and is open to what the future holds." The reality star is no longer jaded nor pining for Tristan it seems.

If what Maralee Nichols, Tristan's baby mama said is true, Tristan and Khloe were already engaged and set to marry when the whole cheating scandal broke news. 

"I'm engaged but I will be married soon. I told you I won't and can't be in the child life at all by no means ... Why not wait till yoj [sic] find the right person to have a family with," Thompson allegedly wrote to Nichols in messages that she has now shared in a court filing, and obtained by Us Weekly. 

After a paternity test proved he fathered a child with Maralee Nichols, Tristan apologized to Khloe in January. 

Khloe didn't deserve the 'heartache and humiliation' he's brought her, according to the 31-year-old basketball player.
