Was the "stage fight" between Will Smith and Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars real or staged?

According to Judi James, a body language specialist, the "Men in Black" actor's attack on the comic may have been staged because Chris did not fall when hit.

She told The Sun that the 57-year-old actor did not "nurse his face" after being smacked with Will's hand during the Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday night.

Chris "reeled" to one side after being slapped, according to Judi, who added that the award-winning actor is a "large guy" and anticipated the hit to cause Chris to fall to the floor, "even if it was only from shock."

"Chris' apparent lack of 'pain' response was probably what led many viewers to feel they were seeing a prank," she stated.

It wasn't only the body language specialist who thought the whole affair was a set; social media users did as well.

"It seemed scripted as hell for whatever reason," one person commented, while another claimed, "Chris Rock exiting in waiting for the smack."

"Will Smiths smirks as he returns to his seat after the 'slap.'"

A third individual even stated that Will Smith's smack to Chris Rock did not appear to hit on his face.

Academy Members in Emergency Talks

Meanwhile, another insider told the site that Academy Award executives joined a conference via Zoom and asked that Will Smith be booted from of the elite organization because of his shenanigans.

This comes only thirty minutes after hitting Chris Rock in the face and winning Best Actor.

According to insiders, in addition to the Academy members undergoing crisis sessions, Chris, who also refused to pursue charges against Will, has been offered a "aftercare package to cope with what happened to him."

According to a source, they openly criticized Will's behavior, and the members are already in crisis mode behind the scenes.

When the event was done, they promptly summoned key members for an emergency meeting to decide what course of action to pursue.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Police Department stated that Chris did not wish to seek charges against him.

Chris made an inappropriate remark about Will's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith's, tightly cut hairstyle at the 2022 Oscars. The "GI Jane" joke, on the other hand, did not go down well with both Will and Jada, and the latter's brow wrinkled as Chris delivered the joke.

Will calmly stepped on stage after the remark and smacked him before he could finish what he was saying.
