Is Jimmy Fallon going to be the next Ellen DeGeneres?

As toxic workplace charges surface, a showrunner from "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has apparently been "flat-out fired" and "didn't leave."

Jamie Granet-Bederman, who has worked on the program for 13 years, said on Friday that she was "transitioning to create numerous new ventures" with the late-night presenter.

In a statement, she said that working with Jimmy over the last few years has been "such a blessing," and she praised him for the privilege of helping establish two late-night shows, adding that she will be eternally thankful to her "Tonight Show" family.

An source, however, confirmed to OK magazine that Jamie's departure has a considerably more sinister motive - she was supposedly sacked following a series of probes into workplace behaviour during her time on the program.

According to the source, she was dismissed by NBC because she created a poisonous workplace atmosphere.

"Under her direction, many of authors departed." A long-time and well-liked show booker also quit. "The co-showrunner also left."

After the charges were confirmed genuine, NBC claimed that they chose to fire her and not renew her contract.

Radar Online was the first to announce that a workplace probe was underway, saying that the climate had begun to impair Jimmy Fallon.

According to a reliable source, the presenter never makes eye contact with anyone and only enables senior producers and selected producers to speak to him.

"It's a terrible place to work," said the insider.

Following a complaint of "backstage conduct" during the late-night program, NBC allegedly launched an internal inquiry right away.

Indeed, there have been allegations of bullying and a poisonous work climate, prompting the network to interview current and former staff.

Jimmy and his program will now be controlled by Chris Miller, executive producer of "The Drew Barrymore Show," who is leaving the low-viewership show for what is thought to be one of the top jobs in late-night TV.

The revelation about Jimmy Fallon's program and its poisonous workplace atmosphere comes after Ellen DeGeneres was accused of the same thing in 2020.

Former workers and a current employee said in a Buzzfeed News exposé that Ellen fostered a culture of terror. The presenter even feels that the charges were "orchestrated," describing them as "misogynistic."

She ultimately chose to end "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" later this year.
