RuPaul’s Drag Race’s ‘Moulin Ru’ the Best ‘Rusical’ Ever? IMBd Ratings Proves So!
After countless "Rusicals" across all different seasons of "RuPaul's Drag Race" US franchise, episode 12 became the highest-rated episode of all time. Is this the best musical performance ever?
The 12th episode titled "Moulin Ru" featured the remaining contestants of Season 14 participating in a musical inspired by "Moulin Rouge."
According to the show's IMBd page, the episode got a whopping 9.4/10 rating, making it the highest-rated episode of the Emmy Award-winning reality competition series.
Aside from the resident judging panel consisting of RuPaul, Michelle Visage, and Ross Matthews, the episode featured celebrity guests producer Le Land, the legendary Leslie Jordan, and singer Andra Day.
Per the top review featured on the website, the critic named last week's challenge "one of the best rusicals EVER!" after a fantastic performance from the queens.
In addition to their highly energetic rendition of the popular musical, which featured a different take on RuPaul's iconic songs, the critic noted that the storyline and the chocolate bar plot twist were "perfect" for the episode.
After the performance, the queens walked the "Mirror Mirror" category runway.
Lady Camden, who got the role of Mama Z, won the challenge and received a cash prize of $5,000 and a trip to New York City to watch the actual "Moulin Rouge" musical on Broadway.
After a critique from the judges, Jorgeous and Bosco ultimately landed at the bottom, leading them to lipsync against each other to determine who would stay.
In the end, the Seattle-based drag queen lost the lipsync against her opponent, but she had the chance to open her chocolate bar to know whether she'll go home or not.
Bosco got the highly-anticipated golden bar in an epic turn of events, meaning she would remain in the competition.
Aside from the two contestants who "shantayed," the remaining queens include Angeria Paris VanMicheals, Daya Betty, Lady Camden, Willow Pill, and DeJa Skye.

Other High-Rating RuPaul's Drag Race Rusicals From Previous Seasons
Since every season of "Drag Race" has a "Rusical," Billboard listed their rankings for the show's iconic challenge.
The "B**** Perfect" musical of season 8 episode 2 got fourth place. The challenge calls for queens to honor and poke fun at the movie "Pitch Perfect."
The episode featured guest judge Ester Dean herself, who played the role of Cynthia Rose in the film.
"HERstory of the World" of All-Stars season 2 episode 3 got second place. The musical is about powerful women in history like Marie Antoinette, Madonna, Princess Diana, and more.
According to the outlet, "Madonna: The Unauthorized Rusical" of season 12, episode 7 topped the list, which featured Madonna's different eras throughout the previous decades.
