Chris Rock is a class act.

The comedian has been all over headlines as of late after being attacked by Will Smith at Sunday night's Oscars. Rock has made minimal comments about the event, and has just set out on his Ego Death comedy tour.

His first show was in Boston where he was met with thunderous applause, and a copycat heckler who was thrown out and arrested. At his second show in Boston, there was another heckler, but this heckler, according to an article on People, was not coming for Chris Rock. They were coming for Will Smith.

The audience member stood up and yelled, "F*** Will Smith!"

To this, Rock immediately replied, "No, no, no, no, no."

Chris Rock was attacked on live television, in front of the eyes of the world, for doing his job. It was a moment that put him at risk of copycat hecklers, and certainly set a new tone for his upcoming tour (because, as comedy is so in the moment, he will certainly have to mention the events during his set if he hopes to keep hold of the audience.)

Even still, he is not disparaging the name of Will Smith, or allowing others to do so in his presence.

This is not to say that Chris Rock has forgiven the King Richard actor. In fact, he has not yet directly spoken to him, or addressed the performer's apology. The comedian has simply come out saying that he is, "still processing what happened."

He also sought to dispel any rumors that he had spoken to Will Smith saying, "I haven't talked to anyone, despite what you heard."

Even still, he is not loudly ranting or angrily posting about Will Smith (actions which, quite frankly, many would not be strong enough not to stoop to.)

While the events were unimaginable, through it Chris Rock has conclusively proven that he is a consumate professional of upstanding character.
