Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian are not legally married, according to a new report.

There was no marriage license for the ceremony held in Las Vegas following the Grammys, people acquainted with the issue tell us, therefore it was a non-legal union.

An "insider" said Tuesday morning, "They held a ceremony, but on paper it's not official yet."

Records for marriage licenses and certificates in Clark County show that the couple never applied for or received one of these documents.

Page Six's request for comment from the pair was not immediately returned.

Elvis Presley was the minister for the Vegas-themed wedding of a hot and heavy couple. The One Love Chapel's website states that it will not perform a ceremony without a marriage license, but it appears that an exception was made for the A-list pair.

Given that they posed as newlyweds in Vegas, it's possible that they're planning a genuine wedding soon. "Several other events with a lot of pomp" have been revealed by sources close to the couple, according to TMZ, which originally broke the wedding news but then backtracked.

Barker's third marriage will be the first for the former "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star. The two however, have children of their own. Kourtney has 3 with Scott Disick, and Barker has 2 with Shanna Moakler.

After dating for around nine months, Kardashian and Barker got engaged in October 2021 on a seaside proposal.

Red roses and white candles adorned the Rosewood Miramar Beach hotel where the drummer proposed to his girlfriend. In contrast to the reality star, he was dressed in a striped black and white shirt and dark slacks.

In a trailer for the Kardashian family's forthcoming Hulu series, it was revealed that Kim Kardashian had begun IVF. It's not clear whether this Vegas wedding will be covered - but given how the family can create drama for television, there should be no doubt about it.

What is clear though is that the couple would be there, naturally. If Scott Disick is with the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" from the start and for the most part of its run spanning over a decade, Travis is the guy on this new show in Hulu.

"There is a lot of us on there, and we've had such a good time doing it because we have such a good time when we're together, but I definitely want to protect it as much as I can. But also, this is my life," Kardashian told Variety in March.

"He obviously has a full-time job and a full career ... But I think he's happy to [film], and we have had so much fun while we've been filming certain things that we're doing, so I'll just invite the producers to come along," she added.
