Brie Larson just scored a spot in a major movie franchise - "Fast & Furious" - amid her successful stint as Captain Marvel in the MCU.

Larson officially delivered the news about her participation in the next "Fast & Furious" film, sharing her excitement through an Instagram post.

The 32-year-old uploaded a photo of her and the franchise's main star, Vin Diesel, as they laughed in front of the camera.

"Excited doesn't even begin to explain how I feel about joining the Fast family. Thank you for welcoming me in with so much kindness and excitement, @vindiesel. Can't wait to share more (when I can)," she captioned the post.

Meanwhile, Diesel shared the same photo on his Instagram account, introducing "Captain Marvel" to the franchise's fans.

According to the 54-year-old actor, fans are yet to see Larson's character, who will be introduced in "Fast 10." He also hinted that she would play a huge role in the franchise's mythology since she would provide fans with something they "never expected but always yearned for."

The upcoming 10th installment of the franchise, which is yet to be titled, will premiere on Apr. 7, 2023.

Larson followed Jason Momoa's casting. The "Aquaman" actor was tapped to play the villain's role in the new movie.

Both Larson and Momoa joined "Fast & Furious" before the franchise's ending at 11 films. As of press time, it remains unknown whether the duo would continue their roles or not.

Still, it is highly likely to happen especially since the franchise has been aiming to provide people with the best race toward its finish line.

Multiple reports revealed that director Justin Lin would direct the final two movies, which would end the series' over two decades stint. He also directed "F9," the latest film in the franchise that grossed $762.2 million.

"Fast & Furious" started with 2011's "The Fast and the Furious." The Hollywood Reporter previously estimated that the first film earned $5.89 billion at the worldwide box office after its release.

The plot of the next two films is yet to be confirmed. But the cast members, especially Michelle Rodriguez, that it might center on outer space.

"Oh, no way! How did you guys find that out?" Rodriguez exclaimed. "See what happens? People start talking behind the scenes, man. When a movie doesn't come out and forget about it, things get out," she told SiriusXM's "The Jess Cagle Show."
