Big news for Better Call Saul fans! Some familiar characters have been announced to return for the sixth and final season of the Breaking Bad prequel about the neerdowell lawyer Saul Goodman played by Bob Odenkirk.

Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) are set to star in the new season. Co-creator of the show Peter Gould made the exciting announcement on Saturday while speaking at a panel during PaleyFest about what they have in store, though, according to Variety, he didn't go into the specifics of their roles.

Gould said,

"I don't want to spoil things for the audience, but I will say the first question we had when we started the show was, 'Are we gonna see Walt and Jesse on the show?' Instead of evading, I'll just say yeah. How or the circumstances or anything, you'll just have to discover that for yourself, but I have to say that's one of many things that I think you'll discover this season."

The news was then confirmed by AMC Network afterwards through a pictured Tweet of Walt and Jesse in a car that reads, "They're coming back. #BetterCallSaul."

This is not the first time Cranston and Paul have reprised their roles. In 2019, they were reunited on screen in the Netflix Film El Camino, a film which tells the story of what became of Jesse after the final season of Breaking Bad.

You can watch the new season of Better Call Saul when it airs on AMC Monday April 18th.
