Jaden Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith's son, shares intimate information about his mother and late rapper Tupac Shakur in a recently discovered interview.

Several times, the actress has spoken about her close friendship with the famed rapper, with the then-burgeoning celebrities who attended Baltimore School for the Arts in the 1980s.

Tupac was tragically slain by a gunshot wound in 1996.

Jaden mentioned their friendship briefly in a 2018 interview with Big Boy, which was just published to YouTube.

The whole Smith family, including Will and Willow Smith, has been under fire in recent weeks when Will smacked Chris Rock during last month's Oscars ceremony in response to the comedian making a joke about her.

However, in the video, Jaden discussed his musical career and how there was extra pressure to make it big since his parents are successful.

"I'm still realizing more and more every day that they're simply a mainstay in the world and they make people feel a sort of manner that nobody has ever made anyone feel," the 23-year-old star added.

He went on to remark that he didn't realize how involved his parents were in hip-hop as well.

Will began his career as a rapper before becoming an actor.

When he saw images of Jaden with Tupac in the studio, he revealed that Tupac was wearing a shirt, and the "Karate Kid" star remembered that it was the same shirt he wore when he asked Jada Pinkett Smith to marry him.

Jada Pinkett Smith and Tupac Shakur, on the other hand, were never married because the "Red Table Talk" presenter allegedly declared, "' Pac, we're best friends.'"

Big Boy then said, "They say marry your best buddy, but I'm glad they didn't," to which Jaden agreed.

Despite the fact that the two never married or even got engaged, Jada, who married Will Smith in 1997, has spoken about her love for the rapper, even though she has maintained multiple times that they were not romantically linked.

"I know that most people want to constantly tie it in this romantic thing, but it's just because they don't have the narrative," Jada remarked in a Sirius XM interview in 2017.

In 2018, Jada described her relationship with Tupac as "special" and admitted to kissing but "didn't like it" on her program.

"You know, it's really weird because now that I'm older, I have a better grasp of what it was between us," Pop Sugar says.
