Howard Stern commented on Johnny Depp - Amber Heard defamation trial and accused the actor of overreacting while delivering his testimony.

The public has been enjoying the access to Depp and Heard's trial as it is being live-streamed to several platforms since it started on April 11. The "Aquaman" actress' team tried to block cameras from showing the trial live to the public, and it was approved by Judge Penney Azcarate. Depp is suing Heard due to the op-ed the actress penned for The Washington Post in 2018.

Although things have been seemingly favorable for Depp, Stern recently broke his silence and said that streaming the trial live only proved how narcissistic the actor is.

During the recent episode of his SiriusXM radio show (via Mediaite), Stern accused Depp of badly wanting the trial to be televised to show his narcissistic personality.

"They think they can talk their way out of anything. I think Johnny Depp is a huge narcissist and what I mean by that is - he figured, 'I'll put this on TV and because I'm so persuasive and because I'm so smart, I'm such a wonderful guy,'" he said, as quoted by Variety.

He told his viewers that he would play some clips from the trial. According to Stern, Depp is overreacting since he is jotting down his own material throughout the trial.

With that, Stern believes that Depp is wrong and that the actor should not "put it on TV" in any way.

Defamation Trial WON'T Save Johnny Depp's Career

In the episode, co-host Robin Quivers said that the trial would neither save Depp nor fix his broken career. Stern immediately agreed and called out the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor once again.

"That's what narcissists do, [they say], 'I will charm the pants off of America at the trial.' No you won't! This will not go well," Stern said. "It's not going well for you, it's not going well for her. It's not going well for anybody. You sound like two battling children."

The show's host also noted that seeing Depp testify in court for two days last week only caused embarrassment to the actor.

Stern also commented on Depp's accent, saying that he sounds like he was from the South of the Midwest when in fact, he was born in Kentucky.

Depp ended his cross-examination on April 25. The exact date when Heard will testify remains unknown.
