Many fans are angry that Olivia Wilde was delivered "personal and secret" documents onstage at CinemaCon on Tuesday.

The actress and director's presentation of her current film was cut short when an unidentified lady in a mask went on to the platform and handed her a yellow folder.

"This is for me?" she inquired.

According to Deadline, the contents might have been custody papers from her ex-partner, Jason Sudeikis, with whom she has two children.

Fans believe Sudeikis was discourteous in raining on Wilde's parade as she was promoting her new film, "Don't Worry Darling."

"He/she might have waited until she was finished before proceeding. That was meant to frighten and embarrass her while she showed a video significant to her in front of industry professionals "one individual stated

Some believe the action was "too famous."

"I'm sorry, but Jason Sudeikis serving Olivia Wilde on stage at Cinema Con when she was presenting the film in which she met the man she left for is a bit too iconic."

However, one fan suspected that the director of "Booksmart" had anything to do with her being served the papers onstage as if it were the final resort to get a hold of her.

"This suggests she's been avoiding the attorneys for a long if they have to serve her in a public place," a Twitter user stated.

Another Twitter user speculated, "they only confront the person being served if they've been avoiding the process server, and it takes a LONG time for it to get to this, so she really did this to herself," when asked why the person handing the doc didn't wait for Olivia Wilde to finish her presentation.

After a long engagement, Wilde and Sudeikis divorced in November 2020.

However, an insider told Variety that the paperwork for a custody agreement has been "written up." But the "Ted Lasso" star had no idea his former would be served with papers during her on-stage presentation.
