Amber Heard Lying? Why Viewers Believe Johnny Depp Is Telling the Truth Amid Trial
Amber Heard has not become the subject of a positive headline yet since the defamation trial started.
When Johnny Depp and Heard finally faced again over the defamation lawsuit the actor filed, the actress has constantly found herself in the middle of hot waters even after giving her testimony. This even led her to fire her former PR strategist and hire Shane Communications instead.
Despite the recent change in her team, almost all the viewers of the trial are convinced that Depp is telling the truth and Heard is lying because of several reasons.
On Reddit, users flocked and explained how the tables turned compared to what the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star suffered during the UK libel trial. The Cut also explained the event, saying that the "Aquaman" actress' credibility has been highly affected by the defamation trial.
Per fans, they initially believed Heard's stories not until Depp dropped his audio evidence in which she admitted to abusing him during their marriage.
"She's on tape gaslighting him, admitting to abuse. I don't believe anything she says," one said, to which another fan said that no one in her family is backing her up except Whitney.
Others also highlighted how new evidence against her recently emerged on top of the witnesses' testimony. Although Heard testified on Depp's behavior, she purportedly has not presented solid proof yet.
Amber Heard Tarnished Her Credibility?
Fans' comments resonated with Heard's recent blunders that jeopardized her credibility.
One of the mistakes she committed is through her lawyer's opening statement involving Milani Cosmetics' All In One Correcting Kit. According to Ben Rottenborn, Heard used it to hide and cover her bruises.
But the makeup brand has since testified and said that the product was not available until Heard and Depp filed for a divorce.

Most recently, Heard tried to present a photo of her bloody lip following an alleged attack by Depp. The judge refused to accept it since the image should have been submitted during the discovery phase.
In addition, the photo contradicted her previous testimony as it was taken in 2012. She revealed during the UK libel trial that the first incident of domestic violence occurred in 2013.
In pursuit of defending herself, Heard said that she got her UK dates wrong. But her therapist provided another information as the actress reportedly told her about the abuse in 2012.
