Kourtney Kardashian Slammed Online After Her Kids Were Noticeably Absent From Wedding
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker finally tied the knot on Sunday, May 15.
Many people wondered where her children were after she became Mrs. Barker.
Tensions were already high when the Poosh creator discovered her children had not been invited to Travis' proposal, but did Mason, Penelope, and Reign also skip their mother's wedding?
Scott Disick, Kourtney's ex and the father of the three children, uploaded photos of the three youngsters as the 43-year-old reality star and the 46-year-old drummer who made news by making their union official at a Santa Barbara courthouse on Sunday.
The "Flip It Like Disick" actor captioned a photo of himself and his youngest son sunbathing, "Living the dream."
A few hours later, Scott released a video of Mason, 12, and Penelope, 9, goofing about on Instagram Stories, tagging the footage "Pushin P."
Kourtney and Travis married on Sunday, with Kris Jenner's mother, MJ Campbell, in attendance.
Travis' children, Landon and Alabama, were allegedly present.
Backlash Against Kourtney Kardashian Following Her Wedding
Scott Disick allegedly said that their children were "upset" when Travis Barker did not propose to Kourtney Kardashian.
"They didn't understand why they weren't there," the Talentless designer claimed during a conversation with Khloe Kardashian.
"I'm hoping they'll be invited to the wedding."
However, it appeared that the children were not there at their mother's wedding, prompting people to criticize Kourtney.
Fans chastised Kourtney Kardashian for removing her children from her wedding celebrations after the three was spotted hanging out with their father on Sunday.
One individual commented on an Instagram image, saying, "Why aren't her children present? You'd think they'd be there to celebrate her wonderful day. Her children seem to take a back seat these days."
Someone else stated, "I feel terrible for those youngsters. Imagine missing your mother's wedding."
Penelope's response to Kourtney's engagement was stunning, with viewers witnessing her fall into tears via FaceTime as the mom-of-three told her only daughter about her engagement.
On a May 5th episode of "The Kardashians,"Kourtney revealed, "Even though she loves Travis, I think she doesn't understand what that means. Is that like, taking me away? I believe she has no idea what that implies."
