Kourtney Kardashian Wedding: Why She Only Invited One Family Member

Kourtney Kardashian only invited one Kardashian-Jenner family member to her weekend wedding to Travis Barker.

The Poosh lifestyle founder is a married lady, but she didn't want to marry her musician lover without her grandma, Mary Jo Campbell, at her side.

The 87-year-old, also known as MJ and Kris Jenner's mother, has been public about her health difficulties and has been in extended isolation during the epidemic.

However, Kourtney allegedly wanted to be there for the tiny courtroom wedding.

According to accounts, just a few bodyguards, Travis' father Randy, and MJ were present during the ceremony.

However, a source told Hollywood Life why this detail mattered so much to the mother of three.

They said that because Kourtney is Kris' first kid, she has a "unique affinity" with her grandma.

"Having her at her side when she became Travis's wife was so significant to them both, and it was one of the most precious times of their life," the insider continued. During the brief ceremony, they both became emotional."

Another reason Kourtney wanted to involve MJ in one of her life's most critical occasions was her grandmother's age and health concerns.

"She couldn't have imagined a more meaningful way to mark one of the most important days of her life than with her granny at her side."

Kourtney Kardashian and MJ Campbell's connection has been regarded as exceptional due to their many similarities.

In fact, when Kourtney decided to make this wedding official, she allegedly sought guidance from her grandma.

Because her sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian, as well as Kylie and Kendall Jenner, were not present, Kourtney allegedly understood that they couldn't have one of them there until all four sisters were present.

She was also apparently aware that they couldn't have one of her children there until all of their children were there.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's official wedding comes only weeks after they married in a non-legal ceremony in Las Vegas.

Following the fake wedding and this courthouse wedding, the couple is apparently preparing another large Italian wedding ceremony, which will now include her mother, sisters, and children.
