Prince Harry and Meghan Markle traveled from California to London to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee.

According to sources close to the couple who spoke to Hollywood Life, they want to spend as much time as possible with her throughout the holiday season.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have one major agenda for their trip across the pond, according to a royal insider.

"They're keen to make this a pleasurable and drama-free return, with the emphasis squarely on congratulating the Queen on this very special occasion."

Queen Elizabeth II is the first British queen to reach the age of 70. This week and next will be jam-packed with royal family-related events and celebrations.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle haven't always agreed with their royal relatives, but since opting to step down as senior royal members two years ago, they're counting on their children, Lilibet and Archie, to bring some levity to their royal reunion.

According to the royal source, there is a new generation to focus on, which includes the children of Prince Harry and Prince William, Princess Eugenie's son, and Princess Beatrice's girl.

"They're really looking forward to getting all the cousins together; it'll be so much fun. Above all, this journey is about paying tribute to and spending time with the Queen."

In addition, the Sussexes' daughter Lilibet will turn one on Saturday, making this a busy weekend for the entire royal family.

The couple is said to be overjoyed to finally meet Queen Elizabeth II.

"Harry and Meghan have such a good connection; they can't wait for her to spend time with her and see her interact with Archie and Lili; that's what they're most excited about," the insider continued.

"The entire weekend will revolve around The Queen, but it's also Lili's first birthday, so the timing is ideal because they'll be able to celebrate that big milestone with The Queen and the rest of Harry's family," they added.

The whole British royal family is assembled on Buckingham Palace's iconic balcony for today's Trooping the Color, but Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and Prince Andrew are noticeably absent.

All three are no longer senior members of the royal family, since the Sussexes left in 2020 and the Duke of York has disgraced the entire monarchy by associating with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein and the allegations made by Virginia Giuffre.
