Amber Heard's career is expected to nosedive and hit rock bottom after the defamation case verdict turned in favor of Johnny Depp.

After six weeks of trial and a few days of deliberation, Depp successfully got his life back by winning the defamation case he filed against Heard.

The jurors unanimously announced that the actress indeed defamed the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor by writing the 2018 The Washington Post op-ed in which she claimed she was a domestic abuse survivor.

Heard was urged to pay Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages, although judge Penney Azcarate reduced the punitive damages to $350,000, as it is the state's statutory cap or legal limit.

Aside from financial struggles, the actress is expected to bury herself even more as no production would purportedly hire her following the verdict.

Amber Heard Lost Everything in Instant

Law&Crime Network recently shared a video of journalist Megyn Kelly appearing on Floyd Abrams' "Speaking Freely" podcast.

During that time, Kelly said that Heard is "professionally ruined" as she became unemployable after the trial's result.

"I think she's professionally ruined for the time being. I'm not sure whether she comes back from this, even in a town that's very liberal and that would be much more in the knee jerk 'I believe all women' camp. The problem for her in Hollywood is the nation watched this trial, and they decided she was a liar and Depp was a truth-teller," Kelly said.

The journalist added that Hollywood has to be capitalist and business-minded, and those ultimately closed the doors for Heard.

Kelly, at one point, reflected on the impact the televised trial caused on helping Depp become victorious in his legal battle. She noted that the petition "Remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2" nears 5 million signatures after Depp won the trial.

With all these issues, the journalist believes Heard will not receive more offers, and it is highly likely that she would get booted out of the next "Aquaman" sequel if the franchise decides not to remove her - for now.

As for Depp's part, experts believe that he would receive offers again. But they also noted that Hollywood would still be cautious due to some people who still think Amber Heard was telling the truth.
