Billy Kametz, a famous "Pokemon" voice actor, has died. He was only 35.

A GoFundMe page dedicated to Kametz confirmed his passing, saying that he died months after the organizer created the account for the voice actor.

A Jinnie McManus closed the page after sharing the official obituary of the late voice actor. The organizer assured that the funds that were not used for his treatments would be reserved for his celebration of life and funeral.

The update added that the bereaved family would love his fans and supporters to donate to the Colon Cancer Coalition in his honor.

"Know that he left this world peacefully, knowing how loved he is and always will be. I miss my friend terribly. But it comforts me that his legacy will continue with his work and all of the fans who are even now discovering what an extraordinary man he was," it went on.

The same post confirmed that Billy Kametz's cause of death was due to the colon cancer he endured for months.

In April, he shared a video of him telling his followers that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. At that time, he assured everyone that he was doing well because of the team of doctors who were helping him.

Kametz then began his chemotherapy treatments and got radiation on his spine.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says that colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer in the US. It also ranks third in the leading cause of cancer deaths in the country.

Stand Up to Cancer says that the dreaded illness can be treated in 90 percent of cases if they are detected early. Meanwhile, some of the symptoms include blood in the stool, abdominal pain, and fatigue, among others.
