Brian Laundrie, a fugitive and killer, is now being likened to Johnny Depp.

A Virginia jury delivered their verdict in the defamation trial of Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard, which included six weeks of relentless drama and stunning disclosures about the poison of their relationship and marriage.

While the court has already found in Depp's favor, some fans are not satisfied.

Supporters of Heard have strangely likened the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star to Brian Laundrie.

Laundrie was liable for the murder of his fiancée Gabby Petito last year after she went missing on a cross-country journey they had together.

Petito's body was recovered in September of last year after he had been gone for a month. She sustained "blunt-force head and neck injuries" as well as "manual strangulation."

Laundrie then went missing until his body was discovered in October.

His death was caused by a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to a medical examiner.

The case even sparked a significant controversy in the United States, with many individuals urging women and girls to report abusive partners as soon as possible before it is too late.

Several fans of the "Aquaman" actress are already attempting to draw parallels between Depp and Laundrie.

"I can't believe that after the Gabby Petito case, in which her fiancé convinced cops that he was the victim, ppl now believe that a 23 yr old actress just starting her career somehow abused a multimillionaire A-lister twice her age that has another trial for an assault next month," writes Twitter user @k4m1laa.

She stated that Laundrie made jokes and laughed with the cops as his fiancé was jailed for allegedly beating him. Meanwhile, she observed Depp joking and laughing with the courtroom while portraying Heard as the abuser.

"It's crazy how, just months later, the culture has flipped back to being deliberately misinformed about DV," the Twitter user said.

She also mentioned how the officers described Petito as "hysterical" in their report at the time. Despite this, Heard was diagnosed with "hysteria" by a board-certified psychologist after just 12 years of assessment.

According to the Twitter user, Depp's legal team utilized the approach "Darvo," which stands for "Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender."

"The expert who created the word recognizes Johnny and his legal team's use of DARVO." The public is presently duping domestic abuse victims into believing that if we retaliate, appear unstable, or have a charming abuser, we are less of a victim."

While the Twitter user stressed that she is not claiming Johnny Depp murdered someone or did anything similar to Brian Laundrie, she is stating that "abusers follow the same script."

"The public is misinformed about domestic abuse, which is why so many people back Johnny."

More Heard fans, like Laundrie, referred to Depp as a "manipulator."

Depp admirers, on the other hand, flocked to social media to attack Heard and her defenders, with one questioning, "Did this person not listen to the same court case the rest of us did?"

Another individual backed the "Fantastic Beasts" star, adding, "Johnny Depp went through the same thing Gabby Petito did in a terrible way." Amber Heard and Brian Laundrie are the same person."
