The final episode of "The Wendy Williams Show" aired today, but the former talk show host's pals are worried about her.

An informant informed The Sun that the 57-year-old appeared "confused" and was apparently "slurring her voice" after announcing the cancellation of her program.

They reported that Williams appeared to be a shell of her former self in their recent meetings, and that she has been engaging in unsettling conduct.

One friend was concerned about her and stated she appeared "out of it."

She described Williams as follows: "She wasn't paying attention, and she wasn't making much sense. She was slurring and didn't appear to get the gist of what we were saying."

"Some days she appears like she could be okay and other days you simply don't know where her head is at," said another close friend of the former radio personality.

While Wendy Williams has stated that she is eager to return to television, she is now focused on obtaining access to the funds in her Wells Fargo bank accounts, which were apparently blocked.

According to the source, while she must be able to access her own money, it is the issue "she is continuously talking about and hyper-focused on," adding that there is no longer place for even discussing other of her objectives.

Wendy Williams' chat with her occasionally fill-in guest presenter Fat Joe sparked anxiety among fans and even Sherri Shepherd.

Shepherd instantly responded to Williams' statements about not wanting to watch "Sherri," which will be published this autumn, after the interview.

But Williams has no ill will because, as Shepherd stated, "I'm not upset with Wendy. She is going through a lot right now. I genuinely worry about her."

It was also reported earlier this week that Wendy Williams declined to send a farewell letter to her followers before the final edition of her show aired this Friday.

This comes after a program spokeswoman announced that "The Wendy Williams Show" had concluded.

Williams said no despite stating that it would not even be done live but pre-recorded.

"She's not at peace with what happened. She's not happy with it."

Wendy Williams left her show last year after several health issues including Graves' disease, COVID-19 and addiction. At some sightings, she could be seen pushed via a wheel chair.
