Brian Laundrie stated an "absurd" wish on his suicide note in which he also called strangling Gabby Petito a "merciful killing."

Laundrie and Petito's case is yet to reach its end as the fugitive's suicide note had been finally publicized.

ABC7 and other news outlets shared pictures and excerpts from Laundrie's notebook. He confessed that he killed his fiancée after she injured herself while they were in Wyoming.

The eight-page narrative was a mix of confession, love letter, and suicide note.

Laundrie said that he killed the YouTuber to take away her pain. Despite the horrifying crime, he begged the public not to make things harder for his family.

"I am ending my life not because of a fear of punishment but rather because I cant stand to live another day without her. I've lost out whole future together, every moment we could have cherished. Im sorry for everyone's loss. Please do not make life harder for my family, they lost a son and a daughter," he said.

Before killing himself, Laundrie drove back to his family to spend his last days with them. Initially, he wanted James or TJ to kill him for what he did, but he changed his mind as he did not want any of them to spend time in jail because of his mistake.

Laundrie disappeared on Sep. 17, 2021, and his remains were found by his parents in Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park near his North Port home.

He died the way he wanted to, as he also wrote in his notebook that he killed himself by the creek in the hopes that animals would gnaw and tear him apart.

Gabby Petito's Supporters Want Brian Laundrie's Parents To Be Charged Over the Murder

The revelation of the confession letter came days after the attorneys for the Petito-Schmidt and Laundrie families met at the FBI's Tampa Field Office.

Joe Petito and Nichole Schmidt have sued Chris and Roberta and accused them of inflicting emotional distress. They told the court that Chris and Roberta knew the time Laundrie killed Petito and helped him keep the crime out of the spotlight.
