Are congratulations in order for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle?

When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made the announcement that they would be stepping down from their senior royal duties in January of 2020, one of the reasons that they gave for making this decision was so that they could become financially independent.

It has been discovered that they are now financially independent, thus it appears that they have honored their promise to stand on their own two feet after more than two years have passed since they made it.

According to the publication Mirror, the accounts that were disclosed by the Sovereign Grant report indicated that Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton continue to rack up large sums of debt.

On the other side, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are currently residing in California and are said to be having a wonderful time there, are apparently no longer receiving financial support from Prince Charles.

The pair "should be commended on accomplishing their aims in raking in millions from the private sector," according to an individual who is close to the Prince of Wales.

This is in spite of the fact that they have been utilizing their newly acquired responsibilities to regularly criticize members of the British royal family in TV interviews.

As part of their agreement with Netflix, they are obligated to produce material that not only enlightens, but also inspires viewers.

It is presently unknown how much their arrangement with the streaming giant is worth, although some rumors have stated that it may be around 112 million dollars.

In addition to their arrangement with Netflix, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a contract with Spotify that is valued at $34 million. Under the banner of their company, Archewell Studio, they want to create podcasts with the goal of showcasing a variety of compelling voices.

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that the remaining members of the British royal family have cost British taxpayers more than 120 million dollars. This comes at a time when many people in the United Kingdom are having trouble keeping up with the rising cost of living.
