Ivana Trump has died at the age of 73. It left many feeling shocked as there were no news of her being in any health distress.

Ivana Trump was discovered dead in her New York home. She suffered a cardiac arrest, which was reported to the New York Police Department at approximately 12:30 p.m. EDT.

Now, some reports emerged about her final days, which gave mixed signals to her condition prior to her death.

Looking Sick

Months before Ivana Trump's death, she was seen being escorted down the street while performing errands.

According to Radar Online, the 73-year-old socialite was spotted leaving her New York mansion with an assistant last month. The pair walked down the street to a hair salon, where Ivana spent approximately forty-five minutes.

During the walk, Ivana used the assistant's arm to maintain her balance. She attempted to conceal her puffy appearance with a pair of big glasses.

As she exited the salon, Ivana appeared exhausted in the photographs. In the past few years, the socialite had maintained a low profile and avoided making numerous public appearances. This latest appearance shocked many as she looked quite drawn out.

Planning a Getaway

But then, she must be feeling better already because she was even planning a massive getaway before this untimely passing.

According to her best friend Nikki Haskell, Ivana Trump was anticipating a trip to St. Tropez before this tragic news.

"She was leaving for St. Tropez tomorrow. This was going to be her first trip away since the pandemic. She was afraid of getting the virus," an obviously grieving Haskell told Page Six on Thursday.

"She was my best friend. I met her the night she met Donald [Trump]... I can't even tell you how fabulous she was, just a great friend, and the most amazing, inspirational person," Haskell said.

Haskell informed us that Trump was "completely quarantined" during the pandemic and "refused to leave the house" due to her fear of contracting COVID-19. "She walked from her home to the restaurant next door, or even to one or two restaurants around the corner. "That's all," she stated.

Trump was, however, finally prepared to emerge from her COVID cocoon and was even arranging a journey around the world with Haskell.

Feuding with Melania Trump

Before the pandemic, what can be remembered of Ivana was her snippy remarks about then preseident Donald Trump's current wife Melania

Former President Donald Trump's heartfelt tribute to his first wife Ivana following the news of her passing was in stark contrast to his current wife Melania's infamously chilly relationship with him.

Over the years, his ex-wife and current spouse have exchanged insults in the press, revealing their private family conflict.

Ivana once ridiculed Melania in an interview while Donald Trump was campaining to become president. She said, ""What is he going to do with his third wife?" Ivana said at the time, according to the New York Daily News. "She can't talk, she can't give a speech, she doesn't go to events, she doesn't (seem to) want to be involved."

Donald was Ivana's first husband; their marriage lasted from 1977 to 1992.

In 2021, Ivana Trump lost Rossano Rubicondi, her fourth ex-husband. He suffered from both liver cancer and a pulmonary aneurysm.
